Hello!  I'm Brenda Murray. I'm a Canadian artist and the owner of Studio 56. I love to sketch and travel. I'm an explorer by nature. I love to visit new places and capture them in my sketchbook. When I discovered Urban Sketchers (USk) in 2014, I thought, I have found my people!  I loved it so much I was the Communications Director on the board of USk for 4 years! Fast forward 10 years and I'm organizing vacation workshops in beautiful locations all over the world and teaching people how to sketch.

Here's How it Works

Once you subscribe you will have access to all the previous content (over 100+ tutorials) uploaded since October 2022. I also post new exclusive content every week. Here you will learn how to draw buildings, figures, animals, food, interior spaces and how to understand perspective. We will work with a variety of materials but no worries, you will not need to buy new materials every week. And you will learn how to apply the skills you learn by drawing from a photo to drawing from real life plein air.

Cost to Subscribe

For $15 per month (or the discount price $120/annually) you will have full access to ALL the previous content as long as you are a subscriber. And every week a new demo or tutorial will be emailed to you. You can sketch along with the tutorial as soon as you receive the link or watch (and rewatch it) at a time convenient for you.
