Sketch the Gare du Palais with Brenda
Welcome to the Sketch the Gare du Palais Online Workshop!
I’m Brenda Murray and I love to draw and feed my creative soul with a creative challenge!
In this workshop we're going to draw the Gare du Palais, which is the main train station in old Quebec City. It was built in 1916 by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the Renaissance Chateauesque style as are several buildings in old Quebec City. On the surface it looks complicated but these are basic shapes with some surface ornamentation. I'm going to show you how to capture the angles on your paper and this is going to be fun! Let's do it!
