Vacation Workshop Refund Policy
GREENLIGHTING A WORKSHOP
A workshop will be greenlighted when the minimum number of tickets (10) have been sold.
A deposit is required in order to secure a spot in this workshop and is due 150 days prior to the start of the workshop. This deposit is nonrefundable however the full deposit may be transferred to a future workshop if the change is made before the workshop is greenlighted.
The balance is due on or before 120 days prior to the start of the workshop.
WHAT IF STUDIO 56 CANCELS THE WORKSHOP?
The decision to cancel a workshop will be made 150 days prior to the start of the workshop based on insufficient ticket sales. In that event, the full amount including the deposit will be refunded.
WHAT IF THE PARTICIPANT MUST CANCEL?
In the event that the participant must cancel more than 120 days prior to start of workshop, Studio 56 will refund the balance (less deposit and less 3.5% transaction fee). There is no refund for cancellations 120 days or less prior to start of workshop. Refunds are not made for services or activities which are not used by the participant due to late arrivals, early departures, or by choice.
HOW FLEXIBLE IS THIS CANCELLATION POLICY?
Not at all because once the workshop is greenlighted, then Studio 56 purchases flights, pays for hotel rooms, buys admission tickets, bus tickets and so on. If a participant does not show up for their workshop, the artist will be paid anyway. For this reason travel insurance is mandatory..
In the event that a participant wishes to cancel, Studio 56 will transfer the ticket to someone else if the participant is able to find a replacement for themselves.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS MANDATORY to protect you against loss of deposit and/or final payment; injury, medical expenses, loss of baggage and personal effects etc. Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the Workshop.

Refunds do not apply when your workshop is cancelled as a result of threat of war, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions or events beyond our control. In most cases, the workshop will be rescheduled to a later date. Please arrange for Travel Insurance.
In the unlikely event of the instructor experiencing a last-minute illness or emergency, the instructor will be replaced with another artist of equal skill and the workshop will proceed. There will be no reimbursement/compensation made to participants.
