Special announcement re Hotel
Dear Montenegro Participants,
I apologize for any confusion about the hotel. Apparently Nadine our contact at the hotel is in the hospital and not working there at this time and someone else was trying (unsuccessfully) to understand our agreement with the hotel. It is all sorted now and it is as I said:
They will then send you an official offer link by email, which you can confirm by entering your name, surname, and credit card details. Once confirmed, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with all agreed terms. Through that link, you will also be able to cancel or modify your reservation if needed.
PLEASE NOTE: THE DEADLINE TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL IS DECEMBER 8.

Price per person / night. Please note SGL Rooms are at the rate of 80% of full rate of the room. VAT is included but tourist tax and insurance of €1.50 per person per day is paid directly at reception upon arrival. Their rates are a little complicated but it looks like this:

October 15, 2025Happy news--We have now Greenlighted this workshop!
On Monday we sold our 10th ticket which means that we can now greenlight this workshop! :)
Remaining Balance + VIP Discount Code

Accommodations
Hotel accommodation is not included in this package but a group rate has been arranged at the 4-star Hotel Plaza Budva. This hotel has a generous cancellation policy (free cancellation up to 20 days before arrival) and so please go ahead and book your room as our greenlight deadline is 150 days before the start of the workshop (Dec 9).

Passport Expiry
Please note that your passport must be valid for more than 6 months after the return date of your trip. Please take a moment now to check that your passport is up to date.
Trip Cancellation + Medical Insurance
Last minute cancellations for any reason are nonrefundable therefore we advise you to protect your investment in this vacation by purchasing travel insurance. Click HERE for a list of US travel insurance companies. Some credit card companies may also offer travel insurance if you paid for your trip using that credit card. We also advise travel medical insurance in case you need medical attention.
When to Arrive
We will be hosting an optional warm up sketch at 3:00 on Thursday May 7 and a Welcome Reception at 6:00pm that night (more info to follow). If there is a huge time difference between your home and Montenegro, we suggest you arrive on Wednesday May 6 so that you have time to get over jet lag. If you're in the same time zone you may wish to arrive on the morning of the 7th in time to participate in the optional warm up sketch.

Welcome
Thank you for your deposit in our Montenegro Villages Workshop featuring plein air watercolour classes with Hazel Soan. I am the vacation package organizer. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
When Will We Greenlight?
This workshop is not greenlighted yet as we need 10 participants to greenlight. The deposit deadline is Dec 9, 2025. You will be alerted on or before the deposit deadline. Please don't make nonrefundable flight bookings before we greenlight.

Your arrival date is your decision but we suggest you arrive by at least Wednesday May 6 so that you have time to settle in and possibly to adjust to a new time zone or the vagaries of travel which, as we know, could include a missed or delayed flight. Better to be relaxed at the start of your vacation workshop.
Buddy Discount + VIP Membership
If you invite a friend and we sell out with 15 participants you and your friend will get a $50 discount in the form of a rebate after the start of the workshop. If you are a VIP member you will get a $100 discount and your friend will get the Buddy discount. These discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount and it can only be applied to a Workshop participant ticket.
