Art Book Reviews
Studio 56 is currently accepting recently published arts-related books for a book review and author interview consideration. Video-taped book reviews and author interviews will appear on the Studio 56 Youtube channel.
Why Submit?
Video book reviews are published on our Studio 56 for Creatives Youtube channel (17.8k subscribers) and on our social media platforms. Authors will gain exposure to a previously unknown audience and our shared audience will be reminded that yours is a great book.
Topic/Category Criteria
The book must be fine arts-related in one of the following categories:
- watercolour
- gouache
- drawing
- painting
- sketching
- urban sketching
- collage
- sketchbooks
- art philosophy
- art history
- plein air painting
- creative thinking
- figure drawing
- reportage
- pastel
- perspective
- pen & ink
- the art business
- theory & criticism
- illustration
Terms and Conditions
- Books not falling into the above categories will not be considered.
- Studio 56 does not guarantee that it will review your book and retains the right to decline reviewing submitted books.
- Shipping of the book to Studio 56 is at the author's expense.
- Submitted books will not be returned.
- Studio 56 retains complete editorial freedom to review the book honestly, criticize it constructively, or decline to review it altogether.
- Studio 56 does not accept payment for a book review and does not pay shipping charges.
- Copyright of the video taped book review and/or interview is owned by Studio 56.
