"I got a commission to draw typical tapas in Spain. So I visited bars around Barcelona. I sketched mollete, a kind of bread roll typical from south of Spain and it can be filled with a lot of things. The most common is zurrapa or pringá. I drew Jerez, a white sweet wine. Salmorejo is a purée mostly eaten in summer, because it’s a cold dish. Regañá is a dried bread which can be eaten as a side in a tapa. Jamón ibérico is a special kind of cured ham made in Spain. My favorite is salmonete frito. It’s a little fish, coated with flour then fried."
