So Much Fun We're Going Back Again Next Year!

We're super excited to go back next February 2024 to San Miguel de Allende with Stephanie Bower because a sketching vacation workshop is a great way to kick off the year. 

For most of us living in the northern hemisphere, it's too cold to sketch outside in the winter months. But San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in February is sunny and warm and colourful! 

Every building in its pedestrian-only historic centre is painted in warm terracotta reds, cadmium yellows, deep rust and orange. Even the parish church, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, is a wedding cake confection with soaring pink spires!

It is a visual feast that we are excited to capture in our sketchbooks.

And, given the choice, this is where our super amazing art instructor, Stephanie Bower wants to teach again next year.
