Finding Inspiration in San Miguel de Allende
Sometimes stepping out of our comfort zone is the best way to reinvigorate our art. In a new place we suddenly notice textures, colours, patterns, juxtapositions, and the light in a new way and then it happens--we rush to our sketchbook or canvas, excited to capture it all while it's still fresh in our minds. And that is exactly our expectation for Bryan Jernigan's abstract acrylic vacation workshop in Mexico this February.
This workshop includes visits to a local produce market where we will be introduced to ingredients used in Mexican cooking.
We will visit museums where we will be amazed by the quirky, fun and fantastical in Mexican lore.
And we will visit the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, the renowned neo-Gothic, pink sandstone parish church of San Miguel with its soaring pink spires and lofty, ornate sanctuary.
It's going to be a super fun and relaxing abstract acrylic vacation workshop in San Miguel next February and we hope you will join us!
Registration is open now. Take advantage of the Early Bird discount. Book before Sept 23 and save $200!
